Demuzo is a crowdfunding platform that enables anyone to invest in the music industry and earn a share of future hits by artists and producers.
The decision to prioritize Mobile First design was a deliberate and strategic choice, focusing on creating a user-friendly and intuitive interface for seamless interaction.
Innovation at the core
Demuzo is a fully independent digital platform that doesn’t rely on data from other crowdfunding platforms.
This is an innovative solution that brings a fresh approach to all participants in the music industry.
Democratizing investing in music
In the past, only major labels and producers had the means to invest in emerging talent and earn dividends. Demuzo is changing the game. You no longer need to be a major player in the music industry — anyone can buy shares in crowdfunding campaigns, support artists, and earn a profit.
How it works
- Labels create artist accounts and launch crowdfunding campaigns to raise funds for releases.
- Users explore campaigns, assess the artist’s work, and purchase shares.
- Once a track or album is released, streaming services pay royalties to the artist. Users receive a proportional share of these royalties, which can be withdrawn via PayPal.
Personal investment account
The user profile is designed to feel like a social media page, offering a comprehensive toolset for managing investments.
The user’s balance is displayed, allowing them to add funds or withdraw earnings via PayPal, along with an overview of their total investments and returns.
The profile also includes a portfolio of all campaigns the user has invested in, a wishlist of campaigns they are considering, recent updates, and a transaction history for deposits and withdrawals.
Informative campaign card
Featured is the crowdfunding campaign card that provides everything an investor needs to make an informed decision about purchasing shares.
A potential investor can:
- Listen to tracks or snippets.
- Learn more about the artist.
- Check the share price and complete a purchase in just a few clicks.
- Add campaigns to their wishlist.
The campaign card also highlights key metrics, including the total funds raised and the remaining days until the campaign concludes.
All crucial details are consolidated on a single screen, allowing users to browse the catalog without needing to open each project individually.
Campaign progress visualization
When users click on a project card, they are directed to the campaign page.
In the Funded section, we highlighted the progress bar with a vibrant, visually engaging chart instead of plain numbers.
We also implemented dynamic status indicators to show whether a campaign is upcoming, active, or completed.
The page provides detailed information about the release, clearly explaining what users will gain by purchasing shares. It also features the artist's social metrics and a history of the campaign’s progress.
The Leaderboard
Additionally, a list of investors is available, enabling users to explore their profiles, portfolios, and performance statistics.
Celebrating investments
When users click "Buy" on a project card, they don’t simply enter numbers. Instead, they adjust a slider to select an amount between the minimum and maximum investment, instantly seeing what percentage of the total funding their contribution represents and how many shares they are purchasing.
Sharing voice
Immediately after completing the purchase, an interactive "Success" window with celebratory confetti appears. Demuzo congratulates investors on their new shares and presents them with a beautifully designed certificate.
One step — one action
Since some Demuzo users are labels that need to upload artists and crowdfunding campaigns to the platform, we ensured their needs were fully addressed.
To make uploading tracks as simple as possible, we designed the process around the principle of "one step, one action".
The result
We created a powerful tool for investing in the music industry. Now, anyone can support artists directly from their phone and be part of their success.
